PI Pre-Appointment Instructions

As we advised you during our telephone conversation, there are certain ‘do’s and don’ts‘ which you should heed in order to protect your rights and to assist us in representing your interests:

Do not speak with anyone about the accident. This is very important.

Until you see me, do not give any kind of statement about your accident to anybody. If you’ve already given written statements and have copies, please bring them with you to our meeting.

If you are injured or think you are injured, see a doctor right away. Do not wait to consult a physician until you’ve met with us, unless you were instructed so by us.

You can tell the doctor that you were in an accident but don’t discuss the facts about the accident with the doctor.

(3) Write down on a piece of paper how the accident happened, including what the other driver said and what you remember having said. Also write down who was present at the scene of the accident.

Be sure to take pictures of your car before you have it fixed, and make sure to request that the auto body shop takes extensive photos as well.

(5) Please bring the following items for our meeting:

  • Other party’s contact and insurance information;
  • Your insurance information;
  • Witnesses contact information;
  • Police report;
  • All photos related to the accident;
  • Medical reports/bills; and,
  • Repair estimates.
We look forward to seeing you on our appointment date. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to call us (310) 268-7802.
